Group Meeting:  We are reading books by Mo Willems this week.  Today, I read That's Not a Good Idea.  Our book count is up to 720 books.  Wow!  I'm beginning to think we should have made the goal higher :)

Small Groups:  The activities for this week are listed in Monday's post.  The schedule for today was:

Story:  During story time, I read Knuffle Bunny by Mo Willems.  Trixie is a toddler who has a stuffed bunny named Knuffle Bunny.  She takes him everywhere.  One day, Trixie and Daddy go to the laundromat to do their laundry.  Knuffle Bunny goes along.  On the way home, Trixie realizes that she has left Knuffle Bunny behind.  Because she is a toddler, she hasn't learned the words to explain the situation to Daddy.  Ask your child to tell you how the story ends.

Large Group:  The children went to the Outdoor Classroom.

Letter Learning:  The letter for today was Ii.

Snacks:  The morning snack was cheese sticks, strawberries and juice brought by James.  The afternoon snack was Ritz crackers, carrots and juice brought by Nia.  Thank you, James and Nia!
