Group Meeting: I read the book Pigeon Wants a Puppy by Mo Willems. Ask your child to tell you why it is not a good idea for Pigeon to have a puppy.
Small Groups: The activities for this week are listed in Monday's post. The schedule for today was:
Activity #1 Red Group
Activity #2 Yellow Group
Activity #3 Green Group
Story: At story time, I read Knuffle Bunny, Too by Mo Willems. This is a sequel to the story I read yesterday. Trixie is old enough to go to preschool. One day, she takes Knuffle Bunny to show to her friends. Sonja has also brought her bunny to preschool and it looks just like Knuffle Bunny. When the two girls can't stop arguing about how to pronounce their bunny's names, the teacher takes the bunnies away. At the end of the day, each girl takes a bunny home. Is it the right bunny? Ask your child to tell you what happens next.
Large Group: The children drew pictures of things that they would not like to lose like Knuffle Bunny in our story. Some drew stuffed animals and some drew blankets.
Letter Learning: The letter for today was Oo.
Snacks: The morning snack was Ritz bits and juice brought by Josie. The afternoon snack was yogurt, nuts, dried fruit, granola, and juice brought by Siler. Thank you, Josie and Siler!
