Group Meeting:  For Where is it Wednesday, I hid picture cards around the room.  The children had to find a picture, name the picture word and determine how many syllables (claps) were in the word.  They matched the number of syllables to numeral cards. 

Small Groups:  The activities for this week were listed in Monday's post.  The schedule for today was:

Activity #3 Yellow Group

Story:  The story for today was The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs retold by Jon Scieszka.  This story is written from the perspective of the wolf.  The wolf claims that he is not big and bad.  He says that he was trying to borrow a cup of sugar from the neighbor pigs.  Ask your child  to tell you how the little pig's house blew down.

Large Group:  The have been playing their favorite games.  Today, they chose Duck, Duck, Goose.

Letter Learning:  The letter for the morning class was Vv.  The afternoon class letter was Zz.

Snacks:  The morning snack was French toast sticks and milk brought by Meier.  Thank you, Meier!  The afternoon snack was graham crackers, peanut butter, and juice provided by the preschool.  Unfortunately, the afternoon king was ill today.
