Group Meeting:  For Where is it Wednesday, the children searched the preschool for hidden fruits and vegetables.  After finding them, they brought them to the rug and sorted them into groups of "grows on a tree" and "does not grow on a tree".  Tomorrow, we will be using something that grows on a tree to make our snack.

Small Groups:  The activities for this week are listed in Monday's post.  The schedule for today was:

Story:  The story for today was Henny Penny retold by Bonnie Daubin.  An acorn falls and hits Henny Penny on the head.  She thinks that the sky is falling and runs to tell the king.  Along the way, she is joined by her friends Ducky Lucky, Turkey Lurkey,  Goosey Loosey, and Cocky Locky, who believe her without checking out her story.  Then they meet a fox.  Ask your child to tell you what happens next.  This story did not end as the children predicted.

Large Group:  The children went to the Outdoor Classroom.  They put on their own coats and tried zipping.

Letter Learning:  The letter for today was Qq.

Snacks:  Both classes had pancakes and juice for a snack today.  They were brought by Jai and Jeremiah.  Thanks!
