Group Meeting:  The Eric Carle book for today was Have You Seen My Cat?   There are many members of the cat family besides the domestic cats in our homes.  This book helps us identify the different cats!

Small Groups:  The activities for this week are listed in Monday's post.  The schedule for today was:
Activity #1  Green Group
Activity #2  Red Group
Activity #3  Yellow Group

Story:  At story time, I read The Tiny Seed by Eric Carle.  This book tells the life cycle of a seed.  The seed blows until it lands in soil, grows into a plant, and blooms.  Then the flower dies and releases the seeds into the air to repeat the cycle.  The pictures in this book are especially beautiful.

Large Group:  The morning class went to the Outdoor Classroom.  The afternoon class stayed inside as it looked like rain would be coming.  They played London Bridge instead.

Letter Learning:  We have learned the words "I" and "see".  Today, we added "the".  Tomorrow, we will make complete sentences.

Snacks:  The morning snack was banana bread, cream cheese, and milk brought by Meier.  The afternoon snack was Goldfish, cheese sticks, and juice brought by Zenie.  Thank you, Meier and Zenie!
