Group Meeting:  For Where is it Wednesday, I hid pictures of road signs around the room.  The children had to find one, bring it back to the rug and find someone that had a sign that was the same shape as the one they had found.

Small Groups:  The activities for this week are listed in Monday's post.  The schedule for today was:

Story:  The book for today was a non-fiction book, Signs of All Kinds by Erin Seagraves and Heather Baker.   This book had lots of pictures of signs categorized by colors, shapes, and purpose.

Large Group:  The children went on a sign hunt.  I posted pictures of eight signs around the room.  I gave them a paper that had the same signs, only their signs were not colored.  They were instructed to find the signs in the room and use crayons to color them the same color as the ones on the wall.

Letter Learning:  The letter for today was Uu.

Snacks:  The morning snack was yogurt, blueberries and juice brought by Noah.  The afternoon snack was a trail mix of sunflower seeds, Cheerios, raisins, and M&Ms and juice brought by Zenie.  Thank you, Noah and Zenie!
