Group Meeting:  We will be finishing up our study of trees during the next few days.  Today, we talked about animals that live in trees.  In our yard, we have squirrels.  We watched a video that explained how squirrels gather food for the winter months.  We also watched a video that I found of  baby squirrels in their tree nest waiting for their mother to bring them food.

Story:  Our story for today was Nuts to You by Lois Ehlert.  In this story, a squirrel is looking for something to eat.  He digs flower bulbs and visits a bird feeder.  He sneaks into a house through a torn window screen.  What is he looking for?  How will he get back out?  Ask your child to tell you.

Large Group:  The Green Group brought items for Show and Tell.

Letter Learning:  The letter for today was Ii.

Snacks:  The snack for the morning class was Goldfish and juice brought by Emmett W.  The afternoon snack was mini pancakes and milk brought by Evelyn.  Thank you, Emmett and Evelyn!
